Thanks for joining me on the Panetta Blog page.

Do you love the sound of Bird Song?  Here in the UK at this time of the year the songs of the wonderful blackbirds can be heard throughout the day. The blackbird utilises every part of their day in the most wonderful way possible, filling the air with their beautiful songs. They welcome in the dawning of the new day at about 4.00a.m. just as the hint of the first light of the day appears and their songs can be heard throughout the day until about 9.00p.m. as the last of the day's light disappears to welcome in the darkness of the night - and rest. Their songs are amazingly intricate - superior to even the greatest of musicians.....

But how can their songs motivate us?.....

ALL bird songs can inspire us to focus and motivate us. Wherever you live in the world listen to the birds in your area. Choose a particular bird whose songs you are particularly drawn to. Then decide what you would like the Bird Song to remind you about - for instance perhaps you find it difficult to feel Joy in your life so perhaps the bird song could remind you to SMILE as you hear it. At first you will need to remind yourself to do this but very quickly you will find that as soon as you hear the bird song it will remind you to smile......  Perhaps you wish to develop Gratitude - attach Gratitude to the bird song as you hear it - and very quickly you will find as soon as you hear the bird song you will be reminded to think about Gratitude.....

For me the Blackbird is one of the greatest singers on Earth singing effortlessly as it sits high upon the roofs of houses and trees around us. It teaches me to utilise every single part of my day with Wisdom - it reminds me that every hour throughout the day is a precious Gift and the Blackbird doesn't waste any part of its day - from first light to dusk..... its songs reminding me to also not waste any part of my day......

The Blackbird's Song is joyful, harmonious, a Celebration of the Gift of Life. Each time I hear the Blackbird sing throughout the day it reminds me of this precious Gift and encourages me to develop Focus and Motivation to use my day with Wisdom, whether I'm at work or at leisure...... whatever I am doing in my day to do it with the Joy of the Blackbird Song.

John Denver sings in his song "The Flower that Shattered the Stone" :

"Sparrows find freedom beholding the Sun
In the infinite beauty we're all joined in One"

I adore the beautiful, magical little Sparrow! They love to face directly into the Sun and for me they reflect my little Yorkie "Molly" who left the linear plane in 2008 but who continues to be a strong force of inspiration to me today. She was tiny - but highly intuitive, fearless and full of fun. She really knew how to make the most of each day! Sparrows tend to remind me of her Joy of Life. As I approach them each day to feed them they get really excited and start singing to each other filling the air with the Voice of Excitement. Their singing reminds me to also seek the Fun - Joy in each day. Sometimes that Joy can feel as if it is hidden from our view - but the Sparrow, as it faces into the Sun, reminds me that the Sun never forgets to bring its Light of Wisdom and Transformative Power to Planet Earth each day, When Joy is hidden from my view I copy the Sparrow and turn to the Sun to transform my Sorrow into Joy.......

There are also Robins near to where I live and two of them regularly keep me company as I put the food out for them. They are very friendly and reliable. They remind me to also be friendly and reliable to all that I meet in my day. The Robins come up very close to me, inquisitive and courageous and remind me to exert Trust that Universal Source loves me and is forever reliable for me......

And the Seagulls! How I love the sound of seagulls!!! For me the Song of the Seagull as it flies above my head reminds me to "Follow my Heart". It reminds me to be very focused, clear as to my Intent and that when the waters around me feel turbulent I can continue to fly above that turbulence......

Take time to listen to the birds in your area - listen to their message to you - because there will be one. Hold that mesage close to your heart each day and allow it to inspire and motivate you.

Whether you wish the motivation to be about studying regularly, utilising your time each day well, finding Joy in your day, flowing through life while all around you seem to be "caught within a turbulent sea" - attach the motivation you wish to work with to the Bird Song. You will very quickly find that as soon as you hear the bird song - you will also recall the motivation.......

In the end as John Denver sings "we are all One"....... Nature is a wonderful teacher - we only need to open our hearts to its potential to teach us and help move us forward on our Journey of Life.

Please give a smile today as you hear the first bird song of the day in your life.....  Music IS an international language - truly international - and its not only us two legged creatures called humans who know how to produce it.....!

Thank you for sharing this time with me
